Who We Are
While profitability keeps Indie Guns running, it’s not what drives us. We are part of a network of like-minded individuals who understand—and are committed to resisting—the historical reality that tyrants disarm populations. Self-built arms empower their creators with the anonymity needed to safeguard against future confiscations or persecution.
Our mission goes far beyond making sales. It’s about ensuring that those who share this vision have access to what they need, even when facing opposition. This is not just a business—it’s a cause.
Who Is 2A Dark
In 2022, following the ATF’s new rule, Indie Guns came under relentless attack: de facto prohibition, frivolous lawsuits aimed at exposing customer data, and a $7.8 million judgment against my company. I refused to cooperate with demands to turn over blanket customer data, which only escalated the pressure. Shipping services, merchant processors, banks, and digital payment platforms were coerced into cutting ties, crippling my ability to operate openly.
Left with no choice, Indie Guns officially dissolved. Then came the final straw—discovering that once-trusted dealers were betraying their customers by cooperating with authorities. Their actions led to no-knock raids, arrests, and prosecutions, shattering the gun industry’s long-standing culture of trust and privacy.
I grew up in a 2A community where customer privacy was sacrosanct, often likened to a “seal of confession.” Purchases, particularly 80% frames and receivers, were never disclosed—period. This betrayal enraged me and set me on a new path.
Operating under the radar, I re-emerged as 2A Dark, focused on supplying builders, exposing rats, and resisting tyranny. While Indie Guns had to adapt, its legacy remains: the name, logo, and URL stand as a defiant reminder that trust, privacy, and quality endure.
